Testimonials

“I wanted to hire an end-of-life doula to help me work through all the details of preparing for my wife to die. Lisa met with me and my wife in person and ended up participating in the entire process, including supporting me after my wife’s passing. She participated in and actually ran a very difficult family meeting including medical professionals to discuss my wife’s condition, prognosis, and care plan. She provided both logistical and emotional support throughout the process. She worked equally well in person and remotely. I will forever be grateful for Lisa and the role she played in one of the most important times in the life me, my wife, and our family.”

My son died suddenly in 2021 while I is out of state. I was unable to coordinate his funeral arrangements due to the shock and stress of the loss and being in the pandemic.
Lisa worked as a liaison between my family and the funeral providers.
She helped with contacting each provider to coordinate every detail. She went as far as to visit my deceased son at the funeral home, bought his suit and casket to ensure he was appropriately dressed before our family viewed him.
Lisa was supportive, encouraging and thought of every detail. Her support and excellent coordination helped alleviate the stress of funeral planning and dealing with the grief and loss. She also checked in monthly and provided referrals to bereavement services.
Lisa is a great support for all those who are going through a loss and in need of support .

Lisa supported our family when we were faced with one of the hardest experiences we ever had to go through. My husband was diagnosed with colon cancer and was in severe pain. Lisa helped our family by initiating end of life conversations, guiding and supporting our decisions. Lisa visited my husband at home as he neared the end. He enjoyed her calming presence and her use of aromatherapy, giving him much comfort during his time of need. At his funeral, she read the last words he asked her to read to his family. The words brought us joy and peace. We will be eternally grateful for her presence for my husband and our family.
