As a trained end-of-life doula, I can:
- Provide respite support.
- Aid with companionship to the dying person and their loved ones.
- Facilitate conversations for unresolved issues or family dynamics.
- Assist with end of life planning: wake, funeral, memorial, burial, cremation, vigil planning and support.
- Support the post death grief processing.
- Facilitate referrals for grief and bereavement counseling.
“These are the hands of a woman with great courage, tenacity, resilience, and faith. A healer, birth doula, herbalist, farmer, cook, and horticulturist—everything she touched blossomed. Fields of flowers, fruits, vegetables—flourished at her fingertips, but most importantly, our lives. My grandmother was our warrior, our confidante, and our secret keeper. My grandmother’s hands; we miss her warmth, her smile and her spirit.”
